Looked at the Manor end and might have worked even with wind quite
off-shore, but loads of fishermen stretched along the shore and alone so
met Mark at Levington. Despite Mark having his sail rigged when I arrived I
still got on the water first. Wind looked good at first but by the time I
was on the water it lightened. It was a bit gusty and got some nice runs in
but spent a lot of time drifting and trying to plane. Tried Mark's 145
Carve which got going a little earlier, and kept going in lulls much
better. Packed up after a couple of hours of struggling to get going with
some nice planes. Found a car puncture, and saw Mark returning in the
rescue boat, and I'll leave that one for him to tell.
